I am heading to the south coast for Easter..I will give Jervis Bay a goon the way down and the way back from Sussex Inlet.. I will be staying at Sussex Inlet for the 4 days and intennd to fish the Inlet as well as St georges Basin..I might even give outside a go if conditions are ok..

Does anyone know how the Inlet and Basin are fishing at the moment?

What about the Bar? How is it this year? :biggrin2:

If anyone can give me a few details on the Bar, fishing the Inlet and the basin that would be great..As I said I willalso be giving Jervis bay a hit, so any info on bait, lures or possible spots on the bay or just outside would be great as well

My profile photo is my Boat.. named "Hooked" it is a 4.8m Brown monark.. If you see me around come and say Hi...

Have a safe easter to every one and tight lines :1fishing1::thumbup:

will do!

Same here, will be heading down to St Georges Basin for Easter/Anzac day extra-long weekend, will be staying 4 nights, so hope to get a few days on the water this time not like the last time down that way.

I hear people say to try the artificial reef in the basin, otherwise sandy bottom with weed beds closer to the inlet for bream and flatties.

My boat is a 3.7 m Brooker tinnie (mostly white with and orange stripe).

Regards,

Longy

Hey mate

Was done camping at Sussex for a few days a couple of weeks ago.

We got the run down on the bar, you gotta be careful as it's shallow running out there, you can only cross around the high tide mark.

When you get down there, knock on the door of the coast guard, and ask em about the bar, they'll be more then happy to give you the run down on it :)

Best of luck & looking forward to a report, cheers.

Gday,

I'll be down there next weekend - particularly jervis bay around point perpendicular looking for kings (fingers crossed)- will also try middle ground - never know what it can throw up.

Will let you know how we go.

Cheers
