Broken Rod Tip Guide

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if any of you know how to or have attempted to fix the rod tip guide before.

I just came back from a fishing trip and unfortunately I bent the tip guide and snapped it off.

The actual rod is fine. The bracket for the guide is still there. Its just the guide that came off.

Is this an easy fix? Can I just super glue the guide back on?

Any advise will be great

If you are talking about the ceramic ring popping out of the frame, you can't fix that by gluing the ring back into the frame.

You will need to put a whole new tip on. Really easy to do yourself or, take it to a tackle shop where they will be able to help. Although, I must say, some of the repairs I have seen done by tackle shops leave a lot to be desired. Make sure the tip is the right size and material to match th erest of the rod.
