macca02 Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 Anyone got any ideas of the best way to put a false floor in this old tinny, it has 3 bench seats each at different heights. would like a flat floor maybe from the second seat to the bow. how would you go about it? Guest Aussie007 Posted March 15, 2011 Share Posted March 15, 2011 my boat is filled with fishing gear and just crap at the moment or i would have takin a better picture for you here are the only two pictures i have i have a boat simular to yours u can see how the false floor is made it works well makes a lot more room to be able to walk around on also better for storage storing large tackle boxes and buckets etc.. as without a floor all the fishing gear tends to fall into the middle and gets cluttered Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mine was also a runabout with the windscreen but i only recently ripped it out because itd seen better days. Did you use just plywood or marine ply? cheers.
