Boat is in for service, desperate for a fish took the young bloke down to woronora for a fish.

Not really expecting much as we were using plastics on the low tide just as it was about to turn and come in.

Anyway my son was changing his lures on his own until finally he decided on a lure we got from the daily telegraph ages ago.

I throw it out past the rocks so he would not get a snag.He starts to reel it in then goes I'm on!! Im like no you have a snag.

then noticed the tip of the rod bouncing it was a fish bring her in i said.

Nice flatty for dinner and very proud boy couldn't wait to tell his mum.

hey Shaggytrevally,

Love your work.

Now your son will be hassling you on Monday as to when you're taking him fishing next.

"Is it Saturday yet?"

"Is it Saturday yet?"

"Is it Saturday yet?"

"Is it Saturday yet?"

"Is it Saturday yet?"

...so he can catch another fish while you watch....

I did the same to MY dad, but my son isn't doing the same to me....

Oh well, I think my daughter is about to do it so looks like a pink rod'n'reel for her birthday is in order....

The Sunday Telegraph lures are great! I caught a 2kg flathead in Berowra Waters in January with one of them and today caught a 50cm flathead with the same lure before the tail got chewed off. If they repeat the offer I think I will get a couple of those soft plastics.
