rjc123 Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I don't fish narrabeen lake to much but now that i have some spare time, what are some good spots to fish. I am thinking of setting up on the edge of the channel near the mouth and puting out nippers and worms for Bream and Whiting. I s this a good idea. Any tips would be fantastic!
newbie Al Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Try wadding the flats on the run out for whiting. You can generally see them so just cast towards them using light gear with a tiny (think 2x match head) bits of prawn on a long shank hook. Your days maybe numbered for whiting considering we are moving into winter.
rjc123 Posted April 10, 2011 Author Posted April 10, 2011 When you say wading, do you mean on the snad bar near the ocean street bridge at the mouth??

rjc123 Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 If im just setting up for a few hours, i was thinking of having a rod with a liver worm out, a rod with a mullet strip out and flick around some sp's while i wait. Is this okay? Hopefully a big bream or whiting takes some interest. One final question. What is the best tide to fish there on?
