quinny490 Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Sorry for the late post everyone. Went out in the bay a week ago and hooked up on this with a pilchard as bait. Just sat down for a cuppa and then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. It took about 150m of line and put on a great fight. Wasn't sure what it was until i saw some colour and then i realised i hooked onto a shark . Not too sure but i think its a Bronze Whaler. Could someone please verify. It looked about 1.2 meters in length. Caught in middle of the Bay.
Woobwoob Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Yes that's a bronze whaler mate. You can tell by the snout and quickly tapering body with a sharp dorsal fin.
