PRED-ATOR
Hi Raiders, Taking the missus to some flashy hotel in magenta shores for our 41/2 year anniversary. I have negotiated some fishing time for us (me). Was wondering if there any good spots close to the place that are good for fishing. Any kind of fishing i dont really mind. I usually go entrance or munmorah but is there anywhere else closer to the actual magenta shores? Any info appreciated. Cheers, Stan

Catchin Jack
Beach out front of Magenta Shores, you're only about a minute drive from The Entrance anyway.
Bruce the Postie
Take your beach rod, pick out a gutter from your balcony, walk out door to beach, cast into said gutter, catch fish. Easy, seriously, there is some prime beach areas just out the front of Magenital Sores resort and the old tip.Good luck. Cheers, Bruce

DezM
Hi Stayed at magenta shores June last year. Being a newbie to beach fishing I had low expectations. I went to the beach with large prawns from coles ( cut into segments) on a paternoster rig with two hooks. We caught two decent salmon, three 35cm fat bream. About a dozen undersized flatties. The best thing about it was the gutter was right near the walkway and can be easy spotted from the lookout/ picnic table. Obviously the gutters move. We fished late afternoon and rising tides for the best action. Night action was slow. Good luck to you Dez
