I Rebuilt my outboard and finished it last Friday and today was a good day to test it out.

I rang a friend of mine late and we were out on the Hacking at 3.15pm.

Engine ran a little rough and I had some tools with me, adjusted a few things and seems to run better, we headed straight to 120meters of water and there were birds everywhere, we trolled to Marys reef and back for a donut, heaps of bait fish everywhere but no biggins.

Did a flat head drift for half an hour and came up with two Jackets and four Flathead all nice size, came back in the hacking in front of Bundeena and came up with one squid in 15 minutes, Packed and headed home Happy engine is running fine.

Cant wait for a full day out now

Good to see you are back on the water  .

Nice feed considering the late start , Were the leatherjackets thick out there???

Bet it felt funny not being on the water for a while.

VERY NICE DINNER!!! Looks YUM! My sambo is in the fridge, filleted, awaiting smoking tomorrow to go into the next smoked fish pie!

Roberta

Dont forget to remove the blood line, its huge and makes the fish taste horrible.
