Ocean Mark Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Could anyone who has experience with either a Evolution 650 predator or a Haines Hunter 680 patriot please provide me with some feedback on handling and stability qualities of theses two boats, The boat will be used mainly for game fishing and the hull needs to behave well in a following sea. Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Cant give you much on the evo 650, but have been fishing in a 680 patriot and it was a good boat but still not as good as the Boston Whaler Conquest Edited July 31, 2011 by Whaler 255

Just from looking at them they have really low sides and small scuppers for drainage should a big greeny come over the side. I would Still like to hear from anyone who has been on the Evolution 650 because they certainly look well built for rough seas. Cheers

Cheers I havent been in a 235, I got the 255 and had it in some absolutly shit house 40kts+ and 5m+ seas and swell conditions and its been unreal, had waves break in the cockpit and its drains as quick as it came in.
