need help getting a boat

I am looking at getting a used 12 foot punt with a 6 hp yamaha for 1250. Ill use it in rivers and in lake macquarie. Any reccomendations

with the budget you are working with, It will be more of a case of what you can find...

We could all recommend you buy this and that, But it will come down to whats actually available.

If you are after feedback prior to buying a boat, why don't you take a look in the usual places for a second hand boat that you think will suit, post up the details and ask what people think??

Good advice and a valid point!! i would think it would be a bathtub and sewing machine engine for that sort of budget stated!!
