First fishing report from me so here goes nothin!

Struggling with a cold at the moment after far too much work and not enough fishing so decided to take a couple of hours to get outside and relax in the sun and fresh air. Got to my local spot and had every intention to catch black fish.

I am a Queenslander which means I a) win most sports and B) well lets just stick with a. hahaha

To be serious though i have fished for Black fish with my dad for years and years up in Noosa Heads where im from. We only get them for about 3 months in winter (if we are lucky). They are generally big fish as they have swum a long way.

Back to the point Craig!!!

Ok so what im saying is that i have never caught a drummer and today I caught 2, admittedly they were far from trophy fish but by jingo by George they can fight.

One black fish was caught during the session but not by me. I was more than happy with the outing as it was just an amazing day and that little break from work made me feel ten times better.

So there you have it, the ramblings of a black fish fishing, man flue carrying, QLD winner!

By the way i love the forum and all the posts, i think you are all great and look forward to reading many more posts over the coming millennia.

Welcome Cobba!

See how much more fun it is when you have to use fishing skills instead of hand netting the fish at the boat ramp because they're so plentiful in Qld :074:

looking forward to reading more adventures!

Netting?

They jump in the boat, fillet and de-bone themselves.

Hahaa
