Squidding landbased Central Coast

Gday raiders, a mate and i went out last week chasing some squid at Terrigal Haven but ended up loosing 2 jigs 2 the rocks,(1 costing $35) we are new to squidding and are unsure where to cast out, also tried Batteau Bay round at Cabbage Tree reserve but conditions where a bit windy.If anyone could point me in the right direction as where to go to get a couple of squid that would be greatley appreciated.Where abouts in Terrigal Haven, Batteau Bay, Norah Head? Thanks a lot

I saw a guy do pretty well off the rocks at Putty Beach one time while I was bait fishing for flatties and tailor. Low tide, small sea etc you can get right out to the edge and flick sideways along the rock ledge that faces back toward the beach. It's a bit of a distance to Norah Head though.
