Ray R Posted August 16, 2011 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Hi Raiders, I had a couple of hours to spare this arvo so I took the blackfish gear around the rocks. The conditions were good with some nice wash, had to coax the blackies in with some mashed up weed and soon they were there. Started at a depth of around 10feet and worked my way back to about 7 feet and this was the depth they were feeding. Nice arvo again and caught a few tasty blackies... Definately worth the trip. Where were you fishing? Im working (Builder) on the esplanade at Cronulla and have the luxury of watching the same bloke fishing every morning while im slaving away. Wow what great looking fish, And a nice size also. Do blackfish pull hard? ive never fished for them. What is the appeal taste or sport?
