Shakespeare Slingshot Graphite Rod

G'day everyone,

One of the bigger chains of tackle stores are having a sale at the moment and they have Shakespeare Slingshot graphite rods for half price.

Has anyone used these rods and can tell me what they are like. I've never tried graphite before so I am thinking about getting a 2-4kg one for lure fishing with.

Hi mate only new to this forum, so I hope this isn't too late. I just got a 2-4 kg slingshot with a 1000 stradic fi on it. Used it only a few times but IMO it's awsum. Only paid $55 at the local (normal price), so if you can get them cheeper. VERY GOOD BUY.

Where can I buy this rod? I have been looking for a 3-6 kg slingshot. I currently have 1-3KG slingshot, bought it for squidding, but was very impressed with it. I got ripped off on this rod, paid $100 including crappy brownings reel. $55 for the rod is a good buy.

There is a fishing/camping store that is having a sale at the moment which has these rods for $45!!!
