Reef Magic Thursday Report

[REEF MAGIC CHARTERS]

Hi all,

We headed out yesterday & went to catch some livebait, for those of you that like a feed of flathead may want to get out there as we managed 10 big flatties on the bait jigs. With a report coming in about yellowfin north on a 1 degree temp break we headed up that way. We came across 2 longliners working & marked some fish while trolling and dropped a jig in and hooked up straight away only to pull the hooks. We headed out a bit further but we moved back in as the water was better.

We then had albies at the boat straight away and managed to catch 10 on a combination of jigs & cubes over the next 2 hours, all fish weighing around the 10kg mark. We had a great afternoon with a charter group of only 3 they had a great time.

Anyway we are having a weekend off due to family commitments. We do have next Sunday the 11th available for charter if anyone is interested.
