bojulabah
Hit the harbour at sun up Saturday morning and motored out side the heads - several schools of fast moving salmon schools with lots of seagulls working the schools. Tried tiny lures - small raiders and "River n Sea" in several colours, but no luck. I only saw a few salmon boated, mostly in fly. Went to Sow & Pigs - 2 port Jackson sharks, outside to south head - 2 banjo rays, a Port Jackson shark and 3 wrasse. Wind was cold, water choppy and fishing very disappointing - but it was still good to get out and enjoy the day Bojulabah
southerly
Thanks for the report, even no fish reports help build the picture. David
adkel53
I was out there too. Salmon not interested in even the tiniest of metals. I managed one on a 6'' stickbait. Other than the seagull I hooked in mid air with a small metal, that was the sum total of the action for the day. Attempted to catch some squid at a few spots to no avail. Beautiful morning early on. jdudfield
yeah, it was a funny day yesterday. i was surprised to find yellowtail schools inside north head but didn't seem to be anything chasing. a few trevally off middle head. had a look at what the birds were chasing off north head but also no luck. also went out friday and picked up 2 port jacksons at sow and pigs as well ... only real joy was a kingfish in bantry bay at dusk while trying to get bream ... took a cube of pilchard and then caused mayhem. we eventually landed it but was just under 65cm
kadavu
They have definitely been picky lately, found a school off botany but only managed one on small green spinner bait
