reeseman
Hey Raider's, I need a bit of advice, I have a 6 weight fly rod, and I am aiming to mostly go after salt water species. The fly line I have on it at present is fairly ratty but to be honest I have no clue about what line to put on it. I will be land based and targeting mostly bream, flatties and whiting. So it will be all shallow water work. Also is there any good sites that i could buy my fly gear on? Kind Regards Reeseman

luderick -angler
Two questions you need to ask before you buy are 1. target species 2. type of flies your throwing! Without an anaswer I would invest in two lines a floater and a shooting head have a look at Rio lines or Scienntific Anglers they make awesome lines for all occassions. Go to their websites read the specs and more important match the line to the rod. Hope this helps!
bunney10
tO SAVE ON MONEY BUYING TWO LINES I WOULD OPT FOR THE RIO MIDGE TIP, ITS A FULL FLOATER WITH A CLEAR 1.5MTR INTERMIDIATE TIP, VERY SUPPLE, GREAT ALL ROUND LINE, ON LAKES RIVERS OR ESTUARY
