I haven't fished bendalong for a while, but about half way up the main rock platform facing south always produced well. With bread for burly and a peeled prawn on a size 2 hook, 10 to 30 pound braid with fluorocarbon leader(depending on what your after), I caught heaps bream, drummer, travally and groper.

A mate went down last weekend and scored a 11kg jewie off a gutter on Inyadda beach(fresh squid for bait). He also said that he saw guys cleaning good sized flathead caught in the lake

I heard a few weeks ago they where hooking up on Jews some where near Monument Beach at night. So your report gives weight to them being on the bite, look forward to giving that a go.
