zen801 Posted September 22, 2011 Share Posted September 22, 2011 (edited) Hi all, Spent half day on the water in perfect conditions. Fish hard to come by with a few landed but nothing special. Saw a massive salmon school with plenty of bird action. They were eating glassies so we struggled to match the hatch. Fished off north head for mowies and flathead then back into MH that was pretty dead. Did see a pod of dolphins on the east side of the spit bridge and a big seal sunny himself in the water near Beauty Point. Great day out there and glad I did a minor service on the boat the day before. It's that time of year people.
