the one that got away
What type of leader brand do you use for when your using leaders over 30lb? I need to buy some more, and just want some feedback on good brands. Cheers, Zac Edited October 3, 2011 by the one that got away
Catchin Jack
I use Berkley Vanish and also Berkley Big Game Fluorocarbon. Both of these have served me well over time.
GregL
I use the YGK leader in 30lb-250lb in mono and a mix of YGK and Fisherman in FC. I like the Fisherman as it's a soft FC so it ties well, I find alot of them are to slippery and hard for the braid to lock down in the leader knot when using friction knots. ssymmetri
I've used fisherman and sunline shock leader and can't fault either. Just got myself some YGK but haven't tried it yet
