Flounder in Lake Macquarie

Hey guys,

Dropped the kids off to school yesterday and on the way home I stopped at one of my haunts in the lake and had a quick flick before going home.

I ended up getting this nice smooth scaled flounder that went 37cm, I also got another one in about the same spot which went back, it went about 30cm.

The lake is fishing quite good at the moment and the fish are pretty active despite all the rain we've had, I went out during the day yesterday around Dora Creek and had a productive session for about an hour.
