davegroves68
Hi all, As an avid fan and ex player back in Old North Wales and now living here in New south Wales, i was wondering what your thoughts were on the Rugby World Cup? Living in Brookie(next to oval) its plain to see this is league territory. And make no mistake, I'm a Manly fan. It seems union over here is a bit elitist, much like England? (Private school bods).Whereas in Wales and New Zealand , it is defiantly the working mans game. I am married to a Kiwi from Dunedin, so you can imagine our place at the moment is a bit tense. We have Aussie, Kiwi, Irish friends, and i have to admit it, one or two English friends. Things seem to be hoting up now the pool stages are done. Irish and Welsh are in good form, England, France and Australia , not so good, but that can change quickly. Will The All Blacks cope without Dan Carter? My wife was in tears last weekend!!! They are Class though!. All i can say is , this is the best Welsh team for many a year, a great professional attitude .I can but hope. Dreaming of the Trophy, Cymri am Byth WELSH DAVE Edited October 7, 2011 by Welsh Dave

Mr.KingSpooled
Im a Wallabies supporter through and through since i was little. But this is the worst wallabies world cup team I have ever watched play. I think the boks will take out this world cup for sure.

reyzor
as an all balck supporter it pains me to say it but i think the walla bies did well to win the game with the amount of ball they had..... cooper played avaerage, but he didnt have much front foot ball.... the french were at their unpredictable best, and the welsh shut ireland out of the game.... the all blacks were shaky, but cruden settled the team, as did weepu. next weeks semis will be great, im flying out on wednesday to see them along with the final..... c'mon the blacks!!!! tide'n'knots
everyone is talking about how the boks bombed the game and australia were lucky to win - garbage!!! south africa attacked the aussie line the entire second half and the aussies were outstanding in defense! sure they may have been a bit scrappy in attack at times but it was a very hard earned and deserved win in my opinion. having said that , i do think that the aussies will have to take it up another notch in attack if we are to beat the kiwis. The way I see it this will be the grandfinal before the grand final! who ever wins should go on and win the cup! aussie aussie aussie !!oye oye oye!!! pete.
