Adam Chef
hi everybody after midday yesterday I decided to go fishing from a pier at the house in Five Dock Bay, Drummoyne. usually I fish on the lure and pull out a few flatheads or breams, but this time was different. The first throw anything, second throw anything, third and fourth theses nothing but a fifth something has changed, I felt a blow, and after about 2-3 seconds run about 15 seconds, I was surprised because I've never catch anything strong enough teeth stretched me so much line from the reel, I had another 5 runs, for a novice like me it was an amazing experience. fight took me about 15 minutes. the funny thing is that I cot this fish on 2-5kg rod and fishing line 8LB, the fish had 80cm and 7.5 kg in weight. I hope that I still had deals catch such specimens, i dont know how to put more pictures :/ cheers, Adam Edited October 17, 2011 by Adam Chef

Keflapod
Hey Adam, That's a big fish for such a small rod. The kingfish tries hard to cut the line on the ropes, the rocks and everything ! You say you're a chef. How will you cook it ? From which country are you ? I catch fish to eat and I'm always interested to see how people cook fish in other countries...
