ironfist26
Looking to buy a new rod for use on boats around the $250 mark. It is to be paired with the new Shimmano Baitrunner 12000 with 60lb braid and will be used for big kings, jews, dollies and the odd small tuna. Has anyone got any suggestions or recommendations on any rods i should get? Thanks
matt84
are you after more a 5-6' jig stick or 6-7' general purpose rod
ironfist26
dont do much jigging and i assume a 6-7 ft rod will work for jigging as well. More going to be live baiting and baiting compared to jigging though
tentonner
Wilson live fibre 7' 15-24kg awesome live bait rod for kings around the harbour, can take a lot of punishment as well and being a glass rod is almost impossible to break, paid around 220 for mine. can't speak highly enough of it
