Guest Aussie007 Posted October 18, 2011 Share Posted October 18, 2011 u could use a brick or something with weight hook up a downrigger release clip to the weight lock the fish onto the release clip lower the weight to the depth u want give the rod a jerk to release your line than pull the weight up and there u have it i done this today but i used my downrigger while anchored the yakka stayed on the bottom unweighted Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
