rockfisherman
Hi raiders Seeing as 2 stroke mix can coagulate in the carby, does it go bad if sitting in a plastic fuel container? Cheers

Testlab
Hi raiders Seeing as 2 stroke mix can coagulate in the carby, does it go bad if sitting in a plastic fuel container? Cheers If the fuel isn't too old (a few months??) and it has been in a sealed container (kept away from high temps) then I think it should be fine. As said, give it a shake first. It clogs carbys because the petrol evaporates leaving the oil and non-volatile compounds behind (ie. sludge).

The Incredible Hull
I've noticed at times my plastic fuel container has expanded a little. I open the fuel cap and I hear a gas squeezing out, then tighten back up. Is this ok to do?

I guess theoretically your container could eventually burst if you do not have the breather cap open or let the gasses out manually but Id imagine that would be an extreme scenario
