Heath R
With the warmer weather over the last couple of days and the barometer beaming I hit the upper reaches of the Woronora this morning to throw some surface lures around. The hits came thick and fast from first light and in no time I had the trifecta an ep bass and bream. Nothing of any size but it was made up for in numbers. Being a surface junkie it's all smiles from here on in.
YRELAX
It's good to see that the warm weather over the past couple of days has turned the fish on for the surface action. Nothing beats a bass hitting a surface lure.

paul.kenny
Nice wild river Bass and EP there mate......there is nothing like a bit of surface action to remind us that summer is on the way Did you get them on a stick bait or a popper? Heath R
G'day Basscatcher Most of the fish were caught on my ever faithful jaz zappa. Best value for money small stickbait on the market IMO. Regards Robbo
Guest hawkesbass
Well done just wondering how far up the system can you get in a boat of 4 mtrs
Heath R
Hi Hawkesbass My boat is 4.35m and I can get right up to within about 50m from the wier/road at high tide. The last 500m gets a bit shallow at low tide and the last 100m has some massive boulders scattered around so I suggest you idle the last bit. Cheers Robbo
