rsm150d
After seeing my mate Joco catching Jewies in Chippo i had to go for a flick and catch my first jewie. Using a 4kg rod, 4lb braid + 8lb leader i hit the water early prior to sunrise. First cast on a wriggler, i got smoked and the 1000 reel started screeming its titts off.... Fighting the fish for a couple of minutes (felt like a lifetime) after a many runs i saw silver colour and thought it was my first jew... ENDED up being a whopper of a Mullet measuring 48.5cm... I was amazed how hard the fish pulled.... It was the fattest mullet i have seen.. NOW time to catch that big jewie on light gear... Regards, Daniel. paul.kenny
Cracker Mullet Daniel and congratulations on the new FR record, although I sense you weren't that excited when the photo was taken.
pmak
Congrats on the monster mullet. When you have to use lip grips on a mullet - it's gotta be huge

Langa
Unbelievable mullet they pull like trains, well done. That looks like the Loch Ness Monster rising behind you in the second image or is it another Mullet jumping.
