Blood Knot Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Yakka = Yellow Tail Scad (Trachurus novaezelandiae) Hard Yakka = Digging out tree stumps instead of going fishing (Trechurus spousicus) Its a smallish silvery fish with a yellow tail, similar sort of body shape and proportion to a tailor.
