camjojosh Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Headed out early last Saturday (4.30am) and pulled some yakka’s at Balmoral. Not a squid in sight. Fished a wreck I know around North head, and pulled in this King after about an hour and a half (just on the 70cm mark to fork). Two more were hooked in the next hour with 1 busted off on my snapper rod (10lb Braid), and the other pulling the hooks. Planning the same session tomorrow morning. How’s the Spit Bridge for early morning squid at the moment? Anyone been pulling any. I should be passing through about 5am.
safboi Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Hi mate, nice kingy! sorry mate, not too sure in regards to the spit and squids, but i went to p2/3 and pulled out a couple of squid, there seem to be a lot of jelly fish in and around that area, don't know if thats some kind of weird sign lol. anyways, good luck for tomorrow. Cheers, Saf
