Fishlessmick
Here's some info about the DVD taken from another site. Hope thats ok Ken ? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Fellow “***********” With the permission of *******, I wish to announce that today Dean Hayes, Shannon Kitchener (the Editor) and myself – sent off to be produced the first DVD in the “Bethune on Bass” series. Shot over the last three years on the Hawkesbury River, it deals with and illustrates in depth, techniques that are applicable on all tidal water streams. Titled “Tidal Water Action”, it features Shoreline Casting – Soft Plastic techniques – Deep Water and Surface Fly Fishing – finding and exploiting Estuary Perch – and some rarely if ever seen footage on fishing Swamp Drains. It reaches a climax, as we hunt in the half light and dark of evening, the amazing (as Dean calls them) “Pelagic Bass”. Therein, our friend Henry the Heron helps us, as the bass throw caution to the winds as they drive the prawns to the surface in a feeding frenzy. Tidal Water Action runs for approximately one hour forty minutes and concludes with a comprehensive “Tackle Tips” section. It is to be released at the Sydney Tackle and 4WD show at Homebush on the 24th, 25th and 26th of June. Retailing for $34-95, “Tidal Water Action” is being distributed to all Tackle Stores by Australian Fishing Network (AFN). Kind Regards and Tight Lines John Bethune ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- cheers Mick Edited June 16, 2005 by Fishlessmick
