I personally wouldnt touch anything from KPW or Meadowbank and i think they are both over rated spots- I fished KPW for a year and a half when I lived in Ermington never saw anything bigger than 45/50cm soapies landed- great spot for yakkas though (as is any ferry wharf these days)... you just gotta get in early to get the prime spot and tide to reap rewards

Went out to kpw to try it out, it was during the day and caught a few whittings, non leagal bream (22cm) and my wife caught a flatty (37cm), another fisho was ontro something big but unffortunately line snapped. im planning to go out again friday night but what i found was that the water is not that deep, im not sure about jewies hanging around the wharf area. has anyone here caught jewies from the wharf or would they only be caught in a boat that is in reach of deeper water?
