Just got back yesterday after having 3 great days of bass fishing with the boys, we caught yellow/silvers and bass.

Best bass went to Don at 45cms and don also took out best yellow at 47cms...mick got the only silver but forgot the size think it went 52cms.

90% of the bass where caught on spinnerbaits and the lakes looking great at 98ich percent full.

Thanks again to all the guys who came up for 3 days of R&R.

Well done fellas :yahoo: its great to see the fish on the chew and Smitty and I will be there in less than 3 weeks.

They are a couple of quality fish Don and as you are an old hand up there I expected nothing less.

52cm silver is a nice fish as well, did you see them schooled up at all Jorgy ? as a few times they have been that thick you had to hide behind a rock to cast in case they jumped into the boat.

Thanks for the report ...now I wont be able to sleep for weeks :yahoo:

Cheers Stewy

Thanks guys, the bass where in both locations either on the banks or scholled up in or around cliff drop offs.

But alot where off banks...first day we where there i mentioned to mick that this spot won an ABT comp and proceeded to pull 9 bass in 100meters of bank with double hook ups here and there.

Even the bain basin..ie near the dam wall you could get a mix of bass and yellows with other yellows following there mates right up to the boat...awwwwwwsome stuff. :1fishing1:

Looks like an outstanding trip away and great to see the Bass on the chew. Did you get any interest on surface lures at dawn or dusk?

Not a look the whole time we were there but ill be honest i only chucked a few sammy's on the first morning and once we cracked a patten wh did really change the whole time. :1fishing1:
