Well it's Saturday Morning and the weather finaly turned on the goods so Big Kev and myself can get out for a fish. Started Early and on the water by 5.30am and headed straight out for some bait. We found finding the bait hard as we only managed 6 Yakkas so we decided to head straight outside the bay with half a dozen and try our luck for some big Kings. The swells were pumping some decent 2 mtr sets from the SE outside so it made it alittle hard to downrig the baits in close so we decided to head north to wedding cake island off coogee. Found some good returns on the sounder so we anchored. Sent the livies out and a few squid baits but it was the squid baits doing the damage. We hung here for an hour but there were no Kings around but did manage a mixed bag of Snapper to 30cm Sweep to 35cm which were all released :biggrin2: . Headed again just North off Bondi and found yet aagain some good returns so out go the baits and instant hook ups with Kings. Managed to boat 5 Kings all taken on squid baits but were all under the size limit around the 55 to 60cm mark. Alot of sweep around as well and manage to bag a few of those as well. At this stage it was around 11am and the wind picked up to around 20 notts from the NW and the SE Swell made it a rough ride home so we called it a day. All in all another day of fun and plenty of under size fish :ranting2: But it wont be long for the fun to start!!! Water temp was 20.4oC  Tight lines :1fishing1:
