REBSS Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Hi all, i have a johnson 115hp 2000 model which started overheating yesterday. Once home i noticed no water was coming out when flushed so im assuming impeller or water pump. I undid the bolts for the leg but it wont drop. There is a rod attached to the leg so it looks like i have to disconnect this from the motor to drop the leg ? is this correct? Thanks in advance for any comments.
REBSS Posted November 6, 2011 Author Posted November 6, 2011 Thanks Nathan, i have a manual on disk but it seems to be playing hide n seek on me at the moment
tareeterror Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 You will find there will be a linkage rod joined half way down leg, probably behind a cover which will have couple screws holding cover, then need couple open end spanners to suit size, undo lock nut and undo the other nut connecting the rods, mark where the nuts were so back in same place, or your gear selectiuon point maybe out a bit.
