Lake Parramatta

hi Everyone,

I live in Parramatta and was wondering if anyone knew if there are bass in the lake. I have heard yes and no just wondering does anyone know or caught bass there. I want to start some baws fishing and since I have no car this is my only option really.

Okay there were bass stocked in there but i think there was an algae bloom 5 or so years ago and a lot of fish in there died. Not sure if has been restocked or how many survived but you might get lucky if you have a go at dawn and dusk..

There have been bass in Parra lake, but various polution problems may or may not have wiped them out. Plus the lake is full of carp which would make life for the bass hard.

Go down there and throw some plastic's and spinner baits around, see what happens? Just remember dont eat anything that comes out of that water!
