fishingmik Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Gday guys i want to no if any one has put on a bolt on hinge so you draw bar can swing need to fit boat in the garage I have got a few prices to get it done at trailer places they want 700 but they weld them on cheers mik
Catchin Jack Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 A cheaper way is like a hayman reece system where a smaller bar fits inside larger diameter section, secured with pins, apparently cheap to do and stronger.
Big-Pete Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 fishnmik, I bought one from the US about $120. it bolts on very strong, it has a bolt on one side the other is a pin which you remove to swing the drawbar away. Mine works well. I think both the large fishing stores in the US have them. They come with all of the hardware to fit them and they even provide a special centre punch so you can not go wrong. Guest Aussie007 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 your best off getting it done here as it will meet ADR where as the import might not and might cancel any insurance claims u make
