Boat trailer swing away draw bar

Gday guys i want to no if any one has put on a bolt on hinge so you draw bar can swing need to fit boat in the garage

I have got a few prices to get it done at trailer places they want 700 but they weld them on

A cheaper way is like a hayman reece system where a smaller bar fits inside larger diameter section, secured with pins, apparently cheap to do and stronger.

I bought one from the US about $120. it bolts on very strong, it has a bolt on one side the other is a pin which you remove to swing the drawbar away. Mine works well. I think both the large fishing stores in the US have them.

They come with all of the hardware to fit them and they even provide a special centre punch so you can not go wrong.

what size boat is yours on i have a 455 quintrex just a bit worried that its gunna break

your best off getting it done here as it will meet ADR where as the import might not and might cancel any insurance claims u make
