bojulabah Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Mick and I ventured out to Long reef for some snapper action - didn't catch any snapper, but the Kingies went beserk - unfortunately they were mostly 58 - 63cm. A great day, we lost count of the fish boated, not including those we dropped and those that busted us. The weather was a bit sloppy and a stong current and wind, but the barcrusher gets more and more appreciated everytime it gets on the water. Didn't really have any time to take pics. Bob

Bob Hey Bob sounds hectic on the kings. Mate would you recommend a bar crusher? I am looking at one next year. Mike
Crusher Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Mike, I'm on my second Barcrusher - a 620c and love it. Couldn't recommend it highly enough as a tough fishing boat. Bruce.
Slink Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Hey Pickles , I saw you out there yesterday , it got pretty crowded didnt it . I was the first boat out there at 3am and we managed 4 legal kings as well as many rats. We moved elsewhere and landed a few flatties and trevally then in the afternoon everyone went home so we had the place to ourselves again. Had a good day though , you passed me mid morning , I was around dee why then in a seafarer .See you again soon.
