Closest ramp to go long reef?

Which boat ramp is closest to long reef. I usually drop off a parsley bay and head out from there. Is there a faster way? Sydney habour perhaps?

Long Reef has a ramp

not the best, but its as close as you can get. Its down at Fishermans beach, just drive passed the golf club.

Yeah that ramp seems a little trickey. Is there another "proper" ramp that has some sort of protection?

You can go from Little Manly ramp but parking can be an issue or out of Roseville or Rose Bay. Bayview or Sand Point ramp in Pittwater if you like. LongReef ramp is only for the experienced really. If the wind comes up from the north it gets tricky. Unless your trailer is set up for the beach launch/retrieve I'd look elsewhere, besides putting in at the other locations allows you to pick up live bait before you reach Long Reef and check your charts as there are plenty of areas to steer clear of if you haven't been there before. i use roseville because i'm coming from the northshore, re the ramp at long only good for small boat with 4wd and a team of two that know what they are doing on a flat day. I had a look at it one day when i was going past after beening warned about it... no way
