craigbutcher Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Hi Guys I am off with my Dad on a weekend fishing next weekend. We are staying in Port Stephens and will be fishing both 1) Estuary with poppers, fresh prawn and live worms 2) Outside the heads around the islands looking for snapper Could anyone kindly point me in the right direction with GPS marks or land based markings / spots? Thanks Craig
kingwhiting Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I would also love to know where you can get whiting land based at port.
Geoff Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Similar questions have been asked in the past. Suggest use the "search" function ,key port stevens , or nelson bay. There is lots of information to see Geoff
rjc123 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I would also love to know where you can get whiting land based at port. Jimmy's beach on the northern side for whiting. Dusk at the sand spit near the entrance will see you catching dozens of 40cm fish on live worms.
