Hey guys,

I have been dying for a feed of flatties lately, but do not have much luck catching these so called "bread and butter" fish! I was wondering if anyone could point me towards some reliable land based spots where I could soak a few baits, or any areas I could explore with soft plastics that give me a decent chance of catching a few? I live in northern sydney so I usually fish anywhere from the hawkesbury to middle harbour, any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers guys,

Mike

Try throwing plastics instead of soaking baits. Flathead stay still for long periods, then only move a short distance, so YOU need to cover ground.
