harold Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Well it must be going on for 12 months since i sold the boat and stopped visiting the site. It feels good to be reading the reports from many of the "old timers" in here. I wont give their names as they may get upset with the title. We have just bought another boat and should be back on the water over the next 2 weeks and hopefully we will be able to post some reports again. If my wife Mimi shows me up again, she can buy her own boat! Catch em well harold
Guest MarkD Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 back Harold, if memory serves you were going to get something a bit more family friendly, what did you go for?
clutch Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 i sold the boat and stopped visiting the site. 53132[/snapback] Harold, I reread the site rules and apparently if you sell your boat you are still able to visit the site without incurring any fines or penalties
Guest Jocool Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Harold...I read somewhere else that you ended up with a Signature 702! Nice boat. Been out in my mates one a couple of times, and they are a very capable vessel. Bubs won't be falling out of that one in a hurry with the huge gunwhales it has! Did you get the outboard or sterndrive version?
harold Posted June 17, 2005 Author Posted June 17, 2005 (edited) well i am humbled by the wonderful response and yes we did buy a Signature 702L. Paid for it today. It has a 225 Mercury outboard on it and it will live at Akuna Bay. It is second hand having 193 hours on it and as soon as the wind dies down i will bring it up from Mosman. It is in need of TLC as it has lived on a mooring and has not been used very much over the past 2 years. I put a cruiser on hold because of the ladder that goes up, with a 22 months active son, he will go up and gravity will bring him back down so we thought it best to have a single level boat for a year or so. I hope you guys have been murdering the fish and Mimi and i will do our best to hook'em and eat'em. Just realised the fishing gear sits in the garage and hasn't been looked at for a year. Oops. Also, yes i would have been happy to pay $100 for the first fictional Hairtail to come on board this year and no my money was never at risk. Stay catching them Harold and Mimi Edited June 17, 2005 by harold
