Pongrass18ft Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Great efforts landing your first snapper on plastics
plazmaman Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Well done My favorite fish,on a soft plastic.
Anthony Delaney Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Excellent Snapper on a plastic. Makes the early start worth it when you get one like that on your first cast. I'm starting to hear that some bigger Kings are starting to turn up on the banks as well. Did you see any boats catch any Kings on your day out?

There was only 3 boats out, none of them got any kings, one got a couple of nice snapper. We got 1 little rat on a livie, but bait is schooling up, big slimeys the sounder showed bigger fish around the bait,i assume kings, we sent down livies in amoungst them and jigged for zero, the current was ripin to the south which didne help though. Only a matter of time till marlin turn up there though, the water is warm this week. Edited November 20, 2011 by lukeric
