kiwineil
Hi all Took my little bloke l/based fishing late y'day arvo in the storms and rain to the wharf at tunks. After an hour or so of nothing, he was happy to perservere Luckily the tide turned (literally) and in 5 minutes we hooked onto this one (sent back after photo) And a similar size bream. Mr 7 went home happy, if not very soggy. And with a valuable lesson in the art of not giving up! His smile says it all really... Cheers

Robinsoi
Nice catch It's great that you are taking your little boy fishing. I take my young kids land based fishing and it is a rewarding experience. And yes I can totally relate to the negotiations needed with kids for catch and release and the 'bum bum' comments on your signature block.... I have found that if you explain to them that if we let the fish go we can catch it again next time when it is bigger after it has eaten its vegetables. I've even had my little boy run off in a wild fit after I threw a fish that he caught back in the water. Keep up the great work
