Recent Jewie's

Hi all have been fishing quite a lot lately due to losing job so i figured what better way is there to relax and ease my mind.I have been fishing in some pretty ...... up weather rain,southerly wind but i have had some pretty good results(i got the count at around 13 jew's give or take)ranging from 1.5kg's-8kg's in the last 3 week's,i think the fishing god's have taken pity on me and rewarding me for me dedication hehehe.i have been catching more jew's than squid believe it or not(usually or should i say definately always the other way around),not quite sure what's going on there but the squid has been limited(still catching but not as much).i have been using squid and livie's and id say that most of the jew's were caught on the livie's which i think is a little unusual.Have been giving the fish out to family and friends and the freezer's still full now if only the squid come back on.Here's a couple of pic's..Plenty of jewie's around so brave the wind and rain and you shall be rewarded..

I go 2 model to 4kg near the bridge in dirty water.

Hi Mate , Look's like you have definately been busy. Good catch by the way.That's a bit unlucky about your job , looks like the jewies will be happy when you find a new job. So the squid have slowed down, have you still got your favourite lure? Good luck for the job hunting.

hi troy thanks mate and yes that lure has been working a charm and is with me everytime i go out squidding.

Everytime i read the fishing report forum i am amazed by all the Jews that get caught - could only dream of Victorian waterways having that many Jews swimming - great effort and a great report
