dhype
Hey guys - Thought a few people might be interested to see how the artificial reef at Yarra Bay is doing/looked like on the Lowrance SS... I did a few pass and the concrete balls can be seen very clearly... balls all over the place. There was another boat near by flicking plastics and scored a few nice bream so i guess the fish are getting to love the big balls... Might be worth a shot this weekend to see what else is there... Anyone else had any luck with these artificial reefs? Cheers Trung Edited November 28, 2011 by dhype

RADZ2413
that looks great is the SS worth the coin or just nifty to have and what frequency transducer are you using. cheers

dhype
that looks great is the SS worth the coin or just nifty to have and what frequency transducer are you using. cheers The SS is good to have but is not a must have... Pretty useful for finding channels, drop off etc as it sees up to 30m on either side of the boat. Works in depths to about 25m so no real use if you fish deeper waters but for a few hundred dollars it's not bad value if you fish the rivers and bays. It's running a 800hz transducer Cheers Trung
