huckfinn
Went for a fish the other day down at the creek that comes out of Lake Tuggeranong, Canberra. Has produced a few yellowbelly and cod for me in the past but mainly redfin and carp. After losing my soft plastic to knots in my braid i decided just to baitfish for a bit. All on worms i got 3 carp, 1 biggy(60-70cm) and 4 redfin. After noticing my line with bread was pulling a bit i striked and hooked a nice little cod. It was probably only 37cm but was good to see a fat and healthy cod in a waterway usually dominated by redfin and carp.

I find redfin are mainly caught while on lures and carp on bait while im fishing down that way. Im looking forward to the next job I have down in canberra im taking my yak and all my freshwater gear for sure!!! Musty
