rod and reel selection

gudday fellow fihers i fish the georges river and windang and would like to know what rod and reel would suit fishing for bream flathead and whiting in theses areas and line class i fish from boat any info much appreciated thanks i use prawns pilchards and chicken for bait have never tried lures or sft plastics as dont know how to use them and also is there any where that you can get worms from these areas

A 2-4 kg rod and a 1000 size reel spooled with 4-6lb braid.

I think you'd need to spend about $130 at the minimum for the whole lot, or just over $100 if you use mono line.
