rnowak Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Squid spots are very sacred but I will give you some advice. I have previosuly caught squid around both sides of Middle Head. From the water facing Middle Head move towards Balmoral and around the corner of middle head facing the land you should be able to see some kelp about 5 metres under water and about 10-20 metres from the rock face. It can be quite a rough area due to wave swells. Same around the other side of Middle Head but there are gay/naked men on the rocks there (try to aviod this). PM79 Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 (edited) From the Spit Bridge all the way up to Balmoral. I know that seems vague, but the entire area produces squid. Personally I like this area because there are plenty of weed patches and it's usually not that rough. You can try in front of the national park, but only go there when it's calm and don't let your jigs sink for long because the kelp there is insanely good at stealing jigs.
