The wait for that little piece of plastic has been a killer and I've been pouring over my gear making sure it's ready. My dad doesn't always have time to get our boat out and that means I'll be doing a lot of land based fishing in the next few months, mostly Sydney Harbour with plans to explore Port Hacking for the first time ever. I've started reading about Port Hacking and if anyone has any tips on good land based spots I'd appreciate it, specifically sand flats that expose at low tide with deep gutters/drop off's. Bashful Posted December 11, 2011 Share Posted December 11, 2011 I know what you mean by time being a killer - I was meant to go to the Hacking today, but obviously rain put an end to that. I think the places that raiders have talked about the most are Lilli Pilli, Maianbar and Bonnievale Spit.
